Enjoy a unique view of Columbia Icefield from the skywalk!

Explore Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. The surface area covers 324 square metres, the thickness reaches up to 365 metres, and it's covered by 7 metres of snow in winter!

Take the 1 km long footbridge to reach the transparent glass skywalk that rises 280 metres above the ground. The skywalk extends 35 metres from the cliff and will truly give you the impression that you're walking on air.
Gaze out at the 360° views of the Canadian mountains.

  • Seasonal activity: from July to October only
  • Availability: every day (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • Duration: visit at your own pace and stay as long as you wish
  • Departure point: Columbia Icefield Discovery Center
  • Your activity may be cancelled in the event of bad weather. An alternative date or refund will be offered if this is the case
  • Admission to Jasper National Park is not included in the price and must be paid by adults over 17 years of age
