With your ticket to the Basilica of St. Stephen in Pest, you'll discover this church once dedicated to the first king of Hungary, St. Stephen.

Once inside, you'll admire the frescoes, sculptures and ornaments that enhance the setting. Don't miss the church's most revered relic, the mummified hand of King St. Stephen.

If you choose the dome option, you'll climb to the top of Pest's St. Stephen's Basilica to reach a panoramic terrace offering views over Szent István tér square and the entire Hungarian capital.

  • Opening hours:
    • Monday to Saturday - 09:00 to 17:45. Last admission at 5:15pm.
    • Sunday - 1pm to 5:45pm. Last admission at 5:15pm
    • The dome is open daily from 09:00 to 19:00. Last admission at 6.30pm
       
  • On weekends, due to wedding ceremonies, access to the basilica hall is limited (some parts will be closed by barriers, but you can still visit the basilica).
  • When booking, you'll need to choose between two ticket options: "Basilica ticket", which gives you access to the basilica only, or "Basilica, dome and treasure ticket", which gives you access to the basilica, the dome offering a panoramic view of Budapest, and the basilica treasure.
