Discover the ostriches at Cango Ostrich Show Farm. Close to the valley and the Cango wine cellars, this 45-minute guided tour will give you a better understanding of the daily life of these animals and the people who look after them. A small group tour where you can meet real enthusiasts who will introduce you to these magnificent animals, and you'll have the opportunity to see them in their natural habitats. You'll be able to feed them and stand near the incubators where the ostrich eggs are placed. You'll be amazed by the strength and size of the eggs. You'll also have the opportunity to see the chicks (in season).
You'll learn about the different farming practices carried out at the park by the professional staff during the day. They will tell you about the breeding and history of these animals in South Africa. You'll have time to visit their 'Curio Shop' which sells a variety of African arts and crafts. You can also extend your visit and pop into the farm's wine bar and restaurant to sample local specialities.
