At the heart of the Zulu kingdom, discover Africa's oldest reserve and watch wildlife evolve amidst incredible scenery!

Leaving your hotel, you'll meet your guide and join the reserve, where you can watch wildlife evolve amidst incredible scenery. Famous for its success in protecting the endangered white rhino, the reserve is one of the most renowned in South Africa.

On board an air-conditioned vehicle (minibus, van or sedan depending on the number of passengers) , you'll be able to observe the animals of the famous "Big Five": lion, leopard, African elephant, black rhino and buffalo! You'll discover superb landscapes and admire the whole reserve during lunch in a restaurant overlooking the site.

If you wish, you can enhance your safari experience by taking a tour in an open-top vehicle (optional). You'll then be able to get up close and personal with the wild animals!

You'll be taken back to your hotel at the end of this beautiful excursion.

  • Availability: every Thursday (except in exceptional circumstances).
  • Time: 5:30 am. We recommend that you arrive at the meeting point 30 minutes before departure time
  • Departure location: you can choose to go directly to the meeting point or to be picked up at or near your hotel (confirmation of the meeting place will take place after booking)
     
  • Children aged 2 and under cannot take this tour
  • The tour will be taken in an air-conditioned vehicle (minibus, van or sedan depending on the number of passengers). A tour in an open-top vehicle will also be available on site (optional - please allow for a supplement of approximately 360 ZAR evening $35)
  • The tour may be cancelled if there is only one participant or if weather conditions are very bad. In this case, the activity will be postponed or a refund will be made
