The Dolmabahçe Palace was used as the principal administrative centre of the Ottoman Empire between 1853 and 1922. Nicknamed The Ottoman Versailles, the palace has 285 rooms, 46 lounges, 6 hamams and 68 toilets!
Accompanied by your local guide, admire the exterior marble façade, see the period carpets and rugs, along with the magnificent crystal Baccarat chandeliers! You can also see porcelain items and many gold and lapis lazuli ornaments.
