Discover the villages of the Cotswolds on a day trip from London with lunch included!
After meeting your guide near Victoria Station, you'll make your way to the Cotswolds region, known for its picturesque villages.
Your first stop will be Burford, often referred to as the "gateway to the Cotswolds". You can stroll along its High Street lined with old-fashioned stores and admire the view of the river Windrush. This authentic setting will offer you plenty of photo opportunities.
Next, you'll set off in the direction of Bibury, where you'll discover a row of cottages dating back to the 17th century, emblematic of the region's architectural heritage.
You'll continue your itinerary to Bourton-on-the-Water, nicknamed "the Venice of the Cotswolds" because of the River Windrush that runs through its center and the stone bridges spanning it. Here you'll visit on your own the Model Village, a faithful miniature replica of the village as it was in 1937, located in the garden of the Old New Inn. Lunch will also be served on site at the Old New Inn.
Finally, you'll hit the road again, heading for London, arriving around 6:30pm.
