Hop on board a speedboat and head to Île aux Cerfs and Île aux Phares islands, enjoy an hour's snorkelling in the Mauritian lagoon and marvel at the Grande Rivière Sud Est waterfall!
Leave your hotel early in the morning and join a small group on board a speedboat at Pointe Jerome jetty before heading to Blue Bay Marine Park. Your boat will anchor near a protected reef that is home to over 50 species of coral. You'll enjoy a one-hour snorkelling session in the lagoon's crystal clear waters.
Your boat will pass Île de la Passe and Île aux Flamants islands, before stopping at Île aux Phares where your guide will tell you about the role this small island played in the 19th century.
Just after midday, you'll stop at Ile aux Cerfs, where you can dig into a typical Mauritian barbecue lunch. On the menu: prawns, fish, chicken, salad, garlic bread, fruit... as well as drinks (soft and alcoholic).
On the way back to Pointe Jerome jetty, you'll stop at Grande Rivière Sud Est, a majestic waterfall and a must-see if you're on the island.
After your day visiting these Mauritian islands, you'll be taken back to your hotel.
