During your walk, you'll stroll through its picturesque alleyways and over the city's many bridges in complete freedom.
You'll discover Venice's unmissable landmarks: St Mark's Squarecomposed of the St Mark's Basilica, the Campanile and the Doge's Palace. You won't want to miss the Bridge of Sighs, a symbol of the city that owes its name to the prisoners who used it to get to the prisons from the Doge's Palace.
You'll continue this day exploring the Veneto region with a visit to Verona, the romantic city, in the footsteps of Romeo and Juliet.
You'll follow the Adige River and cross thePonte Scaligero, part of the Castel Vecchio, a vestige of Verona's medieval period. A UNESCO World Heritage Site for its many ancient remains, the city is packed with treasures. You'll stroll along Piazza delle Erbe, the city's lively and colourful square and admire the Torre dei Lamberti, 84 metres high, and pass by the symbolic Juliet's Balcony.
Your tour guide will be on hand on board the bus to answer any questions you may have and give you any recommendations.
You'll return to Milan by comfortable bus in the early afternoon.
