Enjoy a hike with thrilling abseils in the canyons of the Moab Valley!
On this roughly 4-hour outing, you'll discover the impressive and colourful landscapes of the canyons near the town of Moab in Utah, USA. This activity is for experienced, confident hikers. The canyoning part requires no previous experience.
Accompanied by a specialist guide, you'll start with a hike between the ochre boulders along the Potash Road where you can admire their incredible strata. You'll reach the Longbow Arch, a magnificent natural arch.
You'll then move onto canyoning as you thread your way through the boulders nooks and crannies followed by a first abseil down the Bow and Arrow canyon.
You'll do four abseils under the supervision of your guide, ranging from 4.5 to 25 metres. During these descents, you'll be able to admire petroglyphs - ancient engravings on the rock face - and may even spot dinosaur tracks!
During the outing, your guide will tell you all about the geology, life and natural history of this region; you'll learn more about the flora and fauna, as well as the canyon's geological formations.
