Set off to meet the whales during a cruise in the marine park of Saint Lawrence and Saguenay Fjord!

You will board at Tadoussac or Baie-Sainte-Catherine for a cruise of around 3 hours in the fjords to discover the whales. These migratory sea giants traverse the globe and regroupe in the Saint Lawrence during summer, rendering this river one of the best in the world for whale observation.

During the cruise, you will admire the coastal landscapes dotted with islands and old lighthouses, true representations of the region's history. You will observe the whales in their natural habitat all while respecting their environment. Expert guides will be on board to explain to you why the whales decide to migrate to the Baie when summer comes.

While completing your reservation, you will be asked to choose your boarding location depending on the following options:

  • Tadoussac: 8:45am departure, boarding at 8:15am
  • Baite-Sainte-Catherine: 9:15am departure, boarding at 9am

  • Seasonal activity: from the end of June to the start of September only
  • Availability: everyday (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Departure location: Baie-Sainte-Catherine or Tadoussac
  • Departure time:
    • Tadoussac: 9:30am (boarding at 9am)
    • Baie-Sainte-Catherine: 9:15am (boarding at 8:45am)

 

  • Observation of the whales is guaranteed. If the captain expects that no whales will be able to be observed during your cruise, the service provider will give you a ticket to come back for another whale cruise ir a guided day cruise departing from Montréal or Québec
  • We advise you to wear warm clothes for the boat cruise
  • The activity is not suitable for people in wheelchairs
