Drive along a scenic route from Munich to the charming village of Berchtesgaden. From there, reach the mountain of Obersalzburg to climb the Eagle's Nest thanks to a lift carved into the rock (not included, payable on arrival).
Located at 1834 metres above sea level on a cliff edge, the "Eagle's Nest" was given to Adolf Hitler for his sixtieth birthday and was used as a conference centre. Explore the old meeting room, the dining room, the little tea room and the various terraces while the guide explains the history of this unique place.
Once back down in Obersalzberg, you will go the Grafenhöhe restaurant for lunch (not included). Then visit the NS Documentation centre, the memorial site for victims of Nazi Germany.
After your visit, climb aboard the bus and arrive back in Munich at the end of the afternoon
