Day 1 – Seoul

Upon arrival at Seoul Airport, collect your Pocket WiFi to stay connected throughout your trip.
Transfer to the city center by limousine bus.
Overnight in Seoul.

Days 2 & 3 – Seoul

Breakfast at the hotel. Free days to explore Seoul at your own pace.
You can use your preloaded T-money card (30,000 KRW) to get around the city more easily by public transport.

Discover Seoul’s five grand palaces – Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Changgyeonggung, Deoksugung and Gyeonghuigung – true treasures of the Joseon Dynasty. Wander through the traditional alleys of Bukchon Hanok Village, then enjoy a break in one of the many themed cafés in the charming Ikseon-dong district. Continue to Insadong, a famous traditional market where you can find Korean handicrafts such as ceramics, hanbok, Korean paper and many authentic items.

Day 4 – Seoul – Gyeongju

Breakfast at the hotel, then departure by train to Gyeongju. Free day.
Former capital of the Silla Kingdom, Gyeongju is a true open-air museum.

Visit the impressive Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, home to a magnificent seated Buddha statue. Discover Cheomseongdae Observatory, one of the oldest in East Asia, then the National Museum, which showcases Korea’s history from prehistoric times to the Silla era. Stroll through Daereungwon Tomb Complex or around Bomun Lake, and enjoy beautiful views from Mount Namsan.
Overnight in Gyeongju.

Day 5 – Gyeongju – Busan

Breakfast at the hotel and departure by train to Busan. Free day.
South Korea’s second-largest city charms visitors with its seaside atmosphere, beaches and cultural energy.

Days 6 & 7 – Busan

Breakfast at the hotel. Free days.

Visit the city’s famous temples such as Haedong Yonggungsa, spectacularly set by the sea, or Beomeosa, nestled in the mountains. Explore Jagalchi Fish Market, enjoy the panoramic view from Busan Tower, relax on Haeundae and Gwangalli beaches, or learn more about history at the Busan War Memorial.
Do not miss Gamcheon Culture Village, known for its colorful streets and artistic vibe, and enjoy the lively nightlife in Nampo-dong and Seomyeon districts.

Day 8 – Busan – Jeonju

Breakfast at the hotel and departure by train to Jeonju. Free day.
Check in and overnight stay in a traditional hanok.

Stroll through Jeonju Hanok Village among traditional Korean houses, explore Jaman Mural Village with its painted alleyways, and visit Jeonju Confucian School. Continue to Gyeonggijeon Shrine, which houses the only portrait in South Korea of the founder of the Joseon Dynasty.
Overnight in Jeonju.

Day 9 – Jeonju – Seoul

Departure by train to Seoul. Free day for a final immersion in the capital.
Overnight in Seoul.

Day 10 – Seoul

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day.

Explore Namdaemun Market or experience the vibrant atmosphere of Gwangjang Market to taste local specialties. Head up to N Seoul Tower for a panoramic view over the city, then walk along a section of Seoul’s historic city wall.
Overnight in Seoul.

Day 11 – Seoul – Return home

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer by limousine bus to Seoul Airport for your return flight.

  • Any specific request for sleeping arrangements (double/separate beds) is subject to availability and may incur a supplement.
  • For technical reasons, hotels may be replaced by similar accommodation and stages may be reversed.
  • Please note that in traditional Korean hostels (Hanok), rooms and bathrooms are small. Often, entire bathrooms are used as showers, and there are no cabins or curtains for washing. Futons can be very thin. As the accommodation is old, the partitions can be thin and the insulation poor, so you are asked to be fairly quiet.
  • In South Korea, hotel rooms are often quite narrow and the beds small. Check-in is usually in the middle of the afternoon (3pm-4pm).
  • Please note that some hotels offer an eco-stay package. (Bedding and room cleaning are done every 3 days or so, depending on the establishment.)
  • The accommodation included in this trip is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. For more information, please contact customer service.
  • If, due to airline schedules, the first or last day is shortened by a late arrival or an early departure, no refund will be made. Likewise, any meal included in the board package that cannot be taken due to these schedules cannot be reimbursed. Also, depending on the timetable of any optional extras and excursions, meals that cannot be taken at the hotel remain the responsibility of the customer.

  • Transports
    A copy of your passport is required following your reservation to book rail transport in South Korea.

  • Limousine bus transfer Incheon airport (ICN) - city center - Incheon airport (ICN) to Seoul:
    The Limousine bus (public transport) runs between the airport and the city center. The stops closest to your accommodation will be given to you in your travel pack. The connection between the limousine bus stop and your accommodation is often made on foot, but can also be made by subway or bus, depending on the location of your hotel.
    In Seoul, this service is subject to:
    - Arrival at Incheon ICN airport between 5:00 am and 9:00 pm.
    - Departure from Incheon ICN airport between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm.
    Outside these times, transfers will be at your expense. A private transfer surcharge may apply. In case of arrival at Gimpo GMP airport, transfers will be at your charge.
  • The Seoul - Gyeongju Train:
    The train in South Korea is the ideal way to travel around the country. Gyeongju is about 2h15 from Seoul. Please note that train schedules will be provided in your travel diary.
  • The Gyeongju - Busan Train:
    Busan is approximately 30 minutes from Gyeongju. Please note that train times will be provided in your travel diary.
  • The Busan - Osong - Jeonju Train:
    Osong is about 2 hours from Busan. After a change in Osong, allow around 1h30 to reach Jeonju. Please note that train times will be communicated in your travel diary.
  • The Jeonju - Seoul Train:
    Seoul is approximately 2 hours from Jeonju. Please note that train times will be communicated in your travel diary.
  • The T-money card:
    The T-Money is a transport card enabling you to pay for your subway, bus or cab journeys, but also to pay in certain stores. Your card will be pre-loaded with 30,000 KRW so you can make your various journeys. You can also top up your card with cash from a recharging station at subway stations or convenience stores.
